About
FUNKYDYLYC, a live funk band
9 musicians brought together by groove, the joy of playing together and the desire to get people moving
FUNKYDYLYC is a musical collective based in Annecy, in the French Alps. On stage, two voices, a rhythm section and three horns shape a broad, precise and warm sound. Funk is the anchor, enriched by jazz colours, spontaneous interplay and solos that give each show its own character.
Original compositions are on the setlist! The band also revisits music by Electro Deluxe, Prince, Phat Funktion, Nils Landgren Funk Unit, Acantha Lang, Incognito, Stevie Wonder, and more. These influences become Funkydylyc arrangements made for the stage: a continuous pulse, moving horns and energy shared with the audience.
From clubs and festivals to local celebrations, corporate evenings and private events, FUNKYDYLYC adapts to each stage while keeping the same purpose: a generous, vivid and resolutely groovy concert.
